Nah I think Chrono Trigger clears Mario 64 any day of the week. Chrono Trigger to me is one of the greatest games of all time, and I think Mario 64 is heavily overrated. I like the later 3D Mario games a lot better

I'm finally playing Echoes of Wisdom and I'm enjoying it a lot. I haven't enjoyed a new Zelda game this much since A Link Between Worlds, and it's singlehandedly reminding me why I love Zelda games. It makes me hope that the next 3D Zelda takes a similar direction to Echoes of Wisdom.

But the moment I first saw a higher quality video signal on a CRT, my immediate thoughts were "I never knew CRTs could look this good"

Part of me really wants to show RGB or Component on a consumer CRT to someone who's long abandoned CRTs. I feel like the people who associate CRTs with bad image quality have only ever seen RF/Composite video on one and didn't become conscious about higher quality video signals until HDTVs came out.

Finished Illusion of Gaia yesterday and I enjoyed it!

Then I started Terranigma, and 3 hours in I'm already blown away from the game

They really don't make games like Jazz Jackrabbit 2 anymore :(

But I really loved the puzzle solving and resource management in the game. It makes me want to go back to the original game at some point and play that as well :>

Finished Leon's story in Resident Evil 2 Remake. Good game. I'm surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it, as I'm normally not into horror and I thought it would be more of a combat-based third person shooter like the later RE games
