I hope the footnotes are awesome/ fulsome! Full of the scholars and writers who have been researching, writing, lifting these early American women's histories for a long time.

Because it is true that despite that work, too few people know enough history --and how "history" comes to us as it does.

Seems like all you'd need to do as a foreign nation is watch those weird crypto betting schemes and when a lot of money drops on 'bombs on the 28th' you know.

"Abughazaleh believes that Democrats have long failed to meet the moment of taking on the far right. For her and many progressive challengers across the country, countering the Trump administration is inextricably linked to combating the influence of groups such as Aipac and challenging the corporate status quo.

Abughazaleh said: "I even see it in my own campaign where there are local leaders and elected officials that call me before endorsing one of my opponents, apologetically saying, I love what you're doing but I'm feeling a lot of pressure to endorse this way or the other. They feel that pressure in the first place instead of being able to stick to their values and it's a shame that we have a party that makes people feel like that."

"I don't know how many times we have to keep doing the same thing over and over and over again of insisting that we have to be more moderate, that we have to move to the right," Abughazaleh added, arguing that policies ensuring affordable housing, groceries and healthcare should represent the political centre."

You don’t beat the far right with moderation. You have to confront it.

Career politicians are unequipped to handle this moment. It’s time for them to step aside.

Another way in which Trump closely resembles Putin and other dictators is that when he is scared, he is dangerous.

With public support in freefall, and with heat from the Epstein Files increasing despite his attempts to obstruct their release, Trump has started a needless war with Iran.

CNN will soon be controlled by David Ellison. If democracy is to survive, a vibrant independent media ecosystem is critical.

My ask: cancel your Paramount/Warner subscriptions and sign up for as many pro-democracy outlets as you are able.

You can start with Democracy Docket: bit.ly/4qmEiFz

This is an iteration of a tactic they use to rile anyone with knowledge of American government. They push this shit to get a rise out of people like a daily fix of outrage. It's utter bullshit and a distraction as they expropriate and loot public resources.

And each punishment is reliving the violation, retraumatizing the victim.

The perp pedos have yet to experience an overwhelming emotional event that is a consequence of their own behavior.

After sexual violence, it's victims who get punished the most. Victims who lose their jobs and have to leave their industries. Victims who lose their friends and support systems. Victims who lose their health and sanity. Perpetrators might lie low, sometimes, before being handed it all back.

They don't rule anyone unless one let's them. (Even hate is a form of bondage.)

They rule no one.

We don't have rulers, we have the rule of law.

Fear of them also is complicity in their treachery.

We've gone from no judicial warrant, to not going to try administrative warrants, to fake posters of missing children.

The desperation of these quota cops reeks. Fuck ICE and the DHS horse they rode in on.

For all of it's liberal social service programs (that any evolved populace would enact) MN is still a net tax contributor to less evolved (red) states. J VD is withholding the people of MN's own money. Same 'power' trip 47 uses: 'Snatch it back and hold it.'
