Three Eeveeloution cosplayers (Jolteon, Umbreon, and Vaporeon) performing in the Sunday costume contest at Twin Cities Con 2025. The Vaporeon has a large bubble wand, the Jolteon is wearing rollerblades.

I’ve heard the rumor about the song being omitted from Medium Rarities due to a licensing freeze in the wake of Go, but I’d like to know if you have something beyond word-of-mouth. It’s definitely plausible, but any sort of confirmation would be great.

One theory is that due to vacancies mentioned by some NPCs, he’s been “kicked upstairs” and is now part of the elite four.

It would totally fit in if he showed up with an invention you can use in the Mega Dimension.

It’s nice to see Korrina, but I do hope Clemont and/or Bonnie show up in the Mega Dimension DLC at some point. Maybe Clemont invents something that allows you to stay in the “Dark World” longer, or see it differently.

If anyone is looking for how to pronounce this word from Pokémon Legends ZA, assuming it’s the same as the city in Wisconsin, it’s “Rah-seen”.

It’s honestly similar to the “Tallest Poppy” phenomenon seen in places like Australia. While some of the criticisms are valid, they seem to be given more weight than is merited.

2000 was the last Pokemon movie to be treated as a “Big Deal” until Detective Pikachu came around. That said, there are a number of takes that haven’t aged well from that time. I also get the feeling that there was some (conscious and unconscious) resentment towards the franchise from the media.

Fair warning: Many of these deficiencies will be reduced or eliminated as the systems improve. Also, if you’re a musician trying to find an audience, looking at what kinds of music are commonly generated should give you an idea what markets are underserved.

Japan didn’t really get to experience it until it got added to NSO Expansion Pack in 2022. It’s a bit surprising they went through all the effort to clear the music and such, but used the Japanese version of Panel De Pon on SNES to (presumably) not pay for the Tetris name.

Guess I missed this getting added. I’ve known about it for a while (it came up in a “music from other Game Freak games” discussion), but never had a chance to play it. I believe it’s the first game after SML2 to have Wario in it.

Played in a Pokemon Puzzle League tournament and went 1-2. Everyone was pretty skilled.

Things are quite busy here at the UW Madison campus regional bus stop. I asked if it was because of homecoming, but apparently this is just a typical Friday. In addition to the usual buses to Milwaukee and Chicago, one is headed to Steven’s Point, and another is headed somewhere else.
