Here's another from the 2005 FA Women's Awards, where we picked up the Fair Play Award. We ALL look a lot younger! 😆
As ever, it was an absolute honour to be part of the Barclays WSL Hall of Fame Selection Panel. Congratulations to 2024's inductees: Alex Scott MBE, Gilly Flaherty, Rebecca Welch and Steph Houghton MBE. Four women who've made outstanding contributions to the women's game both on and off the field.

Spine Race fact #15 (I think)
The Langdon Beck checkpoint has their korma game on point! Now known as the Teesdale Tandoori, it is staffed by the most awesome team of experienced spine gurus
Super new sign conceived & modelled by one of the ruddy awesome managers @jenoneill.bsky.social

I’ve had previous models of this shoe disintegrate in the uppers in the same way. 🤔
My pledge is not to buy more kit unless I absolutely require it (and can’t borrow it). 👍🏻
Have a great adventure!

I think running with a mate last night, who mentioned his pledge and then that I was already well ahead of others (don’t drive, veggie etc), was the nudge I needed. Didn’t take much to tip me over but still... I was glad he did. And I’m so glad you followed.🥰💪🏻🏃🏻♀️🌍❤️
I think I’m me. How can I be sure?
15.11.2024 18:28 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Signed up to @thegreenrunners.bsky.social today. Been faffing about it for months 🙄 Didn’t think I was worthy enough or what my pledge would be. I know. 😵💫 Farking stupid. Anyway, it feels good. 👍🏻 I’ll share more later. All timely too ‘cos my fave trainers need repatching. #pairups #fingersnottoes

Have tweaked my back, in a typically middle-aged fashion. Was unsure on the sense of heading out for a a hilly 10k headtorch run with a pal. It was jeffing glorious up here in Upper Weardale. Calm, cool, quiet and fabulous company. My ❤️ is happy!
14.11.2024 20:53 — 👍 5 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I started playing for Sunderland as a 14/15yr old in 89/90. There'd been no teams to play for before that, aside from a handful of friendlies my primary school let me play in, when I was 11. I just had to watch my mates play matches before we could have a kick about again. My story is so common.
