I got the scan results back for this. I still have osteopenia. There's some improvement but the osteopenia is still there so I still need to take the medication for my bones.

Haven't posted on here in a few months. I'm waiting for a health scan and doing my best in the meantime

I've not known anything different to that for a long time and I think when I get the chance to actually breathe and have a moment to process things I'll finally feel less like I'm powering through things on autopilot

There does start to be a blur of not being able to process the amount of times your body becomes physically sick with something different or an older condition has gotten worse.

Physical therapy has been going good! A slow process atm. I go at my own pace because of my hEDS and how easy it is for me to injure another area. I'm just glad to have a small exercise routine for my chronic health issues that's as good as I can make it for them.

Started physical therapy for my chest injury and I'm so glad I have something now to help me get back to my original fitness plan that helped me as a physically disabled person

I've been up for hours making different phone calls and my spoons are pretty low. I'm very determined to fix a situation that's needed to be fixed so I won't give up on it. I'll make sure to recharge today.

My healing takes longer because I have hypermobility spectrum disorder. I keep that in mind with this injury and any others I get. They'll just take longer and I'll have to be more careful.

My second DEXA scan is March 2025. Last time I had osteopenia in my spine and neck. I'm curious about what it'll say this time.

I'm taking it easy and doing safe stretches. It can take even more months to see any healing.

Oh update from seeing the nurse for my chest injury: it isn't torn cartilage like I was told but still a severe injury. I was given medication for it and so far I'm not sure if my vertigo gets worse with it. I was reassured that if the meds don't work then another plan can be made.
