One Merger After Another: Trump Cronies Take Over CNN CBS was the test case. Now CNN is next. A wave of corporate media mergers is reshaping who controls what Americans see, hear, and believe.

Paramount elbowed out Netflix to buy WB Discovery after a months-long bidding war. When (not if) the deal closes, Paramount will control 25% of the entire media market, and half of the cable TV market, putting CBS and CNN under one roof— which sits atop a house owned by the pro-Trump Ellison family.

Trump and Republicans are:

-Trying to ram through a bill that would disenfranchise millions of voters
-Considering an EO that would allow Trump to take over elections
-Proposing to station ICE agents at polling places

They’re trying to rig their way to victory. We won’t let them.
