I think it’s partially due to not having a couple shows dominate my viewing, but also I think more shows with shorter runs nowadays - some are scheduled that way and others are as fate decides. Just interesting to think about. #andgoodnight

Eight years ago today, I saw my 100th Broadway show. Exactly one week ago today, I saw my 200th. Even with the pandemic shutdown, I still managed to complete this half in half the time it took me to do the first.

I think there’s something poetic about the summer solstice being on my N2N anniversary. There will be light indeed.

In line at Smash - security is saying there’s technical difficulties and hoping to open the theatre in 5-10 mins. Telling people to wait it out in the Marriott breezeway 😬

I swear I worked with cameras in a past life but I have zero patience for editing to make it as a side gig for now but I’m just always filled with giddy joy seeing people liking something I captured enough to use it.

I went to a friend’s concert on Friday and sent them the videos I took the following day. They’ve posted a few to their TikTok, where my four videos are currently at a combined 105K views 😮

The way I could use a nice long cuddle tonight.

They’re filming a movie at my job today.
No, they won’t let me be in it.

Had a bit of a lightbulb moment that caused me to break in a way I didn’t know I needed.

lol of course the person in front of me at the box office is one of three people I sang in front of in my only professional audition. Happy new show year to me 😂

Does it feel like 7°? Yes.
Did I order a milkshake? Also yes.

Nothing like discovering the planner you’ve used for the last three years is discontinued … at midnight before you go back to work 🙃

Me: “I’m going to leave immediately after the show.”
Also Me: *sees friends I haven’t seen in years and then they put cookies and wine out and might as well say hi since I’m already still here*

Saw my first Broadway show 26 years ago today.
Up to 183 different Broadway shows as of today (doesn’t even include repeats).
Thankful.

I had a friend who saw Swept Away this weekend and suggested due to its intensity maybe not have it end the night, or maybe do something lighter and happier after. That shorter running time is nice though.

What’s the matinee?

Same. I need to find a way to download my long tweet history, especially because TimeHop disabled their connect a while back. It’s an incredible insight as to who we were at those times.
