For the past couple of days I have had the random uncomfortable laugh as my brain replays the events over and over. I just can't believe I did that.

Moral of the story: Don't drink water.

I go back to my seat, still mortified. One of the people from the other table comes over after a minute and gives me a hug and insists it was fine. My group tries to comfort me and tells me that now the other group has a fun story to tell.

Finally, I decide I have to go apologize. I stand up, turn around and walk over to their table. I apologize profusely. They have a bit of a good laugh but I'm still melting into a puddle.

Fast forward some minutes and I discover that that other table *wasn't* part of our group. I've randomly walked up to a table and stolen their water. The other table doesn't really say anything to us. I'm dying in my chair. I'm feeling so terrible. People are telling me its ok.

On Saturday, I was out with a group of people for dinner/drinks. Staff was slow refilling the water because they were busy so I head over to the table with the rest of our group and grab one of their water pitchers. People give me a bit of a weird look but we pour the water and life moves on.

Today is a cold one: my hair froze on the commute to work.

By day, I don't do much coding, more scripting. I've got some local php and js apps, but haven't really dived into other languages lately so it's been a good excuse to get into python more, learn Django, etc. I'm not getting paid in cash, but not everything of value is measured in cash, so win to me

Yep. Currently working on some discord bot stuff for a game community I mod. It's a nice change of pace from the day job. Won't ever be paid for it. Wasn't even asked to do it. Just jumped in and started writing.
