Did not finish the costume!!! I wanted to crochet a full tube but I only had a few hours so I only got the hat and head with mandibles done. So I just wore my lace and looked like a ghost grub. But I’ll finish the tube by next year I promise!!!

Went to a soil and death event thanks to an invite from Maggie and Lydia and the planet earth observatory. It was a lot of fun and I dressed as a figeater beetle grub. The other folks in this photo are amazing soil people and educators including Lynn and Mick, and a musician named likely biking!!!

Finished my plarn bag, made from 12-15 ish plastic bags that people dropped off at the compost booth. I washed them, stripped them into plarn and crocheted into this tote bag. It’s pretty strong!!

I turned last years Halloween costume into a basket. The bottom is coiled and stuffed with unrecyclable soft plastics. Then the sides are regular old crochet!
