So yesterday we went to the May Day parade in South Minneapolis, and took some people who were new to town.
I ended up explaining the concept of May Day as a labor solidarity holiday, because it turns out that not everyone's grandad was 3/4 Wobbly.

I used to work in a hospital and had more than one patient claiming it was against HIPAA to ask about their vaccination status. Were they American? No. Was the hospital? Even more no.
If you’re an NZ conspiracy theorist, you need to be misunderstanding the Privacy Act, not HIPAA. Show some pride.
