Once I took him to the vet and she asked what his favorite snacks were, and then looked at me like I’d grown a second head when I told her he likes veggies and lots of fruits 🥴 He likes dog treats too and LOVES chicken, but my dude is also obsessed with rabbit food 🐰

My coworkers tell me that hyperfixation can be a symptom of ADHD 😬 I’m on my second one pound ball of yarn in 48 hours and my hands are so sore. Gonna, you know, try and give it a rest. Def better than stimming by messing with my cuticles, but still not ideal. Regulation is rad tho.

As an aside, my child hates it when I purchase new records because I require a single listen immediately after I get them and he’s not allowed to watch anything on tv while I’m enjoying them (everything is in that room) 😂 To his credit, he goes with it but ALSO checks the record player constantly.

Finished the base panels for the crocheted granny square top/vest I’ve been making over the last few weeks. I suspect I’m going to want to add more length just for my own preferences, but I’m pretty happy with it so far! Not sure if I’m supposed to block before sewing or not.

Also gotta ask: is there something in the air? Libraryland has been INTENSE these
last few weeks.

I absolutely adore Stegonaute’s first full length album. Thankful to have preordered so many months in advance- I had no idea it would be such a limited printing!

I am tired and thankful for small breaks from the world at large.

Two journals, both from Notebook Therapy, are lined up on Halley’s desk. One is a bit smaller, and has a slightly fuzzy forest green cover with golden mushroom and fern details. The other, the larger of the two, is dark blue and features a holographic teacup with galaxies floating inside.

Only about 30 pages left in my current journal. This is gonna be a tough decision.

Apple Replay has me feeling called out 🥴

My husband got the shingles, our normal folks to do the cooking couldn’t come, and my mom has 0 kitchen confidence, so I headed up the thanksgiving meal. It wasn’t traditional (because it doesn’t have to be). I’m proud of my mom for helping me out with this and rlly trying! I think we did okay 🤍

This hair dye brings me a stupid amount of joy; it fades so delightfully, hardly bleeds when it’s fresh, and holds better than any dye I’ve ever used. I meant to try different colors when I started again, but never moved past it. I will be devastated if Good Dye Young ever stops making Kowabunga.

Until recently, his favorite song was Runaway by LeBrock, but Siri accidentally played Fergie last week and I think he’s found his new muse 🥲 Wasn’t on my 2025 bingo card for Clumsy to be blaring in my house all the time, but I think it’s really cool if he’s feeling something 🤍
