Sandworm (Dune). So it turns out, it’s really hard to draw this thing without making it look like a butthole.

Among drawings of superheroes, fantasy creatures and other weird stuff, it’s nice to reset your mind with a page full of tomatoes.

Yeah, me too, LP is really, really important part of me growing up. I'm really happy they're back. It's a shame that their worst album is simultaneously the last with Chester and I, for one, am happy with them returning to the old sound. I'm curious what's next for the band after the world tour.

They definitely play heavier than last few records, but that’s my point - it’s as heavy as it was on, I don’t know, Meteora. I agree that her screaming ability is awesome. You’re acting like I’m attacking you or the band, while I was a big fan of theirs back in the day and I really like From Zero.

And I agree to a degree, because Overflow sounds kinda new. I still don’t see what they being number one has to do with what we’re talking about. People are praising their come back to the heavier sounds, even skits and sample before Two Faced contributes to my point.

But how them being number one everywhere contributes to the discussion about their sound? If anything, I’d say it only makes my point more valid, since people whined for ages about them going soft or too pop. It’s literally return to their roots. And again: I really like the album.

Ok, but how’s that an argument in this discussion?

Sorry, but it really is not. The big change here is the presence of Emily. It’s Linkin Park assuring the OG fans that they can still put out their classic style. That’s why it’s so different from (truly awful) One More Light. I’m sure the next album is going to try something new.

Causality sounds like a mix of Victimized and something from Hunting Party, Cut the bridge is Minutes to Midnight, Good things go is straight from One More Light. The only outlier here is Overflow (which might be my favorite from this album). Again: it’s not bad, it’s just safe and IT’S ALRIGHT!

Was it fresh tho? If anything I could place each song on a specific album from their past. It’s the only thing missing for me - a bit of experimentation. But I get it, they wanted to ease the old fans to Emily and the new era. They played it safe and that’s ok.
