So what are some good EU companies to order things from who will ship directly to Canada?
We need to support each other πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦

Biological markers and psychosocial factors predict chronic pain conditions - Nature Human Behaviour Fillingim et al. show that biological and psychosocial factors jointly predict conditions associated with chronic pain.

πŸ”₯ Most important paper I've read all yearπŸ”₯
πŸ‘‰ Injury/disease doesn't reliably predict pain
πŸ‘‰ Biomarkers alone can't explain pain
πŸ‘‰ PSYCHOSOCIAL factors reliably determine chronic pain
πŸ‘‰ Painful conditions can be predicted from the SYNERGY btwn bio + psychosocial factors

Does anyone have an infographic or other resource to give HCWs who are convinced it’s the vaccine and not infections for atypical MSK/long Covid symptoms? πŸ˜·πŸ’‰

Let’s not forget there are A LOT of Canadian researchers wanting/looking for a research job. There are not enough positions or funding. Support CDN scholars.

I really like the term AI teammate. Do you know anyone researching this use in the rehab space or across multidisciplinary teams?

The US has banned a lot of words for their NSF grants. β€œFemale”, β€œwomen”, and β€œdisability” are 3 examples I’ve seen. Science, especially health sciences, needs to be protected.

officials need to stop reporting β€œthey were old with underlying conditions” with Covid and H5N1. these people matter and deserve to live a safe healthy life. Second, most people likely have underlying conditions from multiple Covid infections or even asthma or HBP count.

All great advice. I just wish it was easier for clients to find shoes of various drop in common/local sports or shoe stores. Most non-elite runners don’t want to order online and choices are slim.

For physios offering virtual care, is there any condition or treatment you find works best virtually (in demand and easy delivery)?
And does anyone have any special programs/tech they’ve used as treatment?

Masks work! In medical history, we adapt when knowledge and science evolve. Masks on HCWs should be a permanent feature.
