(1/10) Today is Nat'l Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Relatives. Hanna Harris would have been 33 years old. On the 4th of July in 2013, Harris went to Lame Deer on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana to watch the fireworks.

It’s National Day of Awareness of Missing and Murdered Indigenous People. I made this for Native American LifeLines Baltimore to honor 2 women who were taken from our community.

Murder is the 3rd leading cause of death for Native women/girls/2spirits, and rates of violence are 10x national average.
