I just have a very sick feeling that ICE is gonna start rounding up Arabic people for those concentration camps itβs building.
Japanese internment, all over again. You know Millerβs eager for it.

Guessing Kuwait shot out planes down because Whiskey Pete Hegseth didnβt feel the need to tell the Kuwaitis that weβd be violating their airspace during a shooting war.
Luckily, the Kuwaiti people are much chiller about this than they honestly need to be.
Waiting nearly an hour just to get checked in at the auto repair shop is probably not a good sign, is it?

Californian here. No, he hasn't.
And no, he won't.
Also, not a fan of the ammo economy. Reminds me a lot of Destiny 1, Day One, where you just ran out of ammo, and then you were screwed.
(That happened a lot in Marathon.)
I love the aesthetics, but you're either running or in menus, and that's also a big detachment for me. There's no real immersion in this world beyond a run, where you're busy getting shot. There's nothing to care about. Story (in the beta, anyway) felt a thin.
Won't bother PvPheads. They're fine.
I'm also hoping the release game has a better onboarding, because outside of Guns, Shields, and Health, I had no idea what I was collecting, what it was for, or how to use it. I don't spend time reading in a live PvP environment, and the UI menus post-run are... not helpful.
01.03.2026 23:21 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Put some time into Marathon, and I wish Bungie well with it, but it'll be the first game they've made in 25 years that I won't be purchasing. It has the shooter polish you'd expect from them, but Extraction is not my genre and the uphill to Good Gear (which you can easily lose) feels steep.

Itβs not like any other part of this was particularly smart, but I take your point.

Itβs your patch and you know it better, but I suspect any cogent power structure atm is optimistic. Unless the generals there rally to 1-3 strong religious or political figures who emerge (as leaders or military puppets), I can see rule-of-the-gun factionalism breaking out.

On top of all the reporting that this war of aggression was planned well in advance, it seems that the reporting also indicates that the US political leadership are quite literally too stupid to understand basic diplomacy. I mean literally not smart enough.

Wow, I just got an email from DNC Chair @kenmartin.bsky.social that didn't ask for money! But he had some thoughts on Trump's actions in Iran.
Well, Ken... so do I. And some thoughts on the Democratic messaging strategy under the Trump regime.
(I would usually have more paragraph breaks, tho.)
(I know he won't. Too spineless.)

Any politician who vows to prosecute and/or extradite to The Hague for criminal prosecution Trump, Hegseth, Miller, Noem, and Netanyahu (should he ever set foot on U.S. soil) on the very first day of their Presidency has my vote.
