More roses blooming in mid October. Even with frosty nights in the mid 30’s and sun in the mid 50’s to 60, the roses seem to continue blooming! A week ago, it looked like they were done for the season.

Beautiful bright yellow rose bud showed up. With the rain, wind and colder nights the roses will be disappearing soon.
One of my favorite roses just bloomed again. I thought they were done blooming, but in between the rain and sun coming out, it must have thought it was still summer! The blooms won’t last with the cold nights, rain and wind.
Roses are still blooming. But not for long! Rain, wind and chilly nights are just around the corner!

Beautiful sunset mixed in between the clouds!
The forecast was for 78 degrees, but these clouds certainly didn’t look like it would be this warm. It was only 60 and a bit chilly. Luckily the clouds blew away and the sun finally came out and it did get up to 78! Yesterday it was 92 degrees, which was hot for us!

This is a beautiful red bloom from a cactus like plant. It gets huge and only lasts a few days. It boom randomly several times a day. When I inherited it, it only bloomed once a year.

I inherited this cactus after my mom passed away. The plant is not attractive but it produces a gorgeous bloom. It only lasts one or two days.
This cactus flower is gorgeous! The plant is over 40 years old. Half of the time, the plant looks like it is dying. I inherited it from my Mom after my brother said I should take it. I used to get 1 or 2 blooms a year. Now it bloom several times a year. The booms seem bigger and are gorgeous!

This is a rhododendron called Unique. It had lots of blooms this year.

A dark pink azalea in full bloom. This is the most blooms it has ever had.
The azaleas, rhododendrons, cherry blossoms were so beautiful this Spring. The flowers were so big and colorful and lasted longer than normal because of our warm weather. We did not have the usual rain, cold and wind.
