Day 100 of #the100dayproject 🎉This experience has been a reminder of the power of small steps & how they add up. I made art every day for the last 100 days-mostly a little bit squeezed in the cracks of a busy life. & now, I have made So.Much.Art.Thank you to everyone who supported & cheered me on!

Day 99/100: I can’t wait to show you everything I have planned for this piece! But I’m taking it one stroke at a time, not rushing. Trying to savor the process. Which has been a huge focus of my 100 Day Project, & art practice generally. #the100dayproject #zentangleinspiredart #intuitiveart

Day 98/100: Had some quality time with my watercolors today and made this background. “Door to Summer” #the100dayproject

Day 97/100:This one started as scrap paper to wipe my watercolor brushes on. Tonight I added gel pen, metallic markers, and colored and pastel pencils. Had no plan. Just made marks that felt right in the moment and here we are at disco sunflower. 😂🌻 Life is like that sometimes. #the100dayproject

Day 96/100: explored with Mom & Dad on Madeleine Island today. Scouted some trails for our Apostle Islands course this July. What a gorgeous day and peaceful place!
This evening I started adding ripple lines to this coffee paint bubble-watercolor background from several weeks ago. #the100dayproject

Day 95/100: Added in some black ink beads and strings and gel pen highlights to this one from the other day. Only 5 more days- time flies when you’re having fun! #the100dayproject

Day 94/100: Today I started with ink again. The simplicity of black ink on white paper is soothing and meditative for me. Will probably add color to this one after the inking is done. #the100dayproject

Day 93/100: Today I art hopped- I finished the ink portion of yesterday’s little journal art, painted a “plaid” watercolor background, started a bird inspired watercolor, and started adding ink to a watercolor background from Day 89. #the100dayproject

Day 92/100: Spent the day in the islands (especially Stockton Island) today, with a Chequamegon Birding and Nature Festival outing. What a gorgeous day! Just a little time and energy for art this evening afterwards- started with ink for a tiny island inspired journal piece. #the100dayproject

Day 90/100! Today I revisited this bubble watercolor background from Day 33, and got a decent start on adding ink. #the100dayproject #zentangleinspiredart #intuitiveart

Day 89/100: Today I made several new watercolor backgrounds and started inking some tiny art. #the100dayproject

Day 88/100: Returned to “April Showers” today. Finished her off with gel pen and pastel pencils. Praying for more rain. 💧

Day 87/100: Finished these tonight! Added more sepia ink, shading & shine with colored pencil & gold & white paint pens. But only managed to get 1 photo of them without some part of a cat in it. 😹 These need a name (names?). Any ideas? #the100dayproject

Day 86/100: Kept adding more ink and colored pencil- and a hint of shimmery gel pen- to these pieces from yesterday. Happy with how these are evolving. Vis kitty loves them too- could barely get a photo without him photo bombing it. #the100dayproject

Day 85/100:Today I revisited some bubble-watercolor backgrounds I made way back on Day 43,& started adding black & sepia ink, & some red watercolor circles.The dots & line work took a looooong time, but I love it- very meditative.Excited to keep adding to these two sibling pieces. #the100dayproject

Day 84/100: Started adding ink to yesterday’s watercolor background. “Red-Wing” work in progress. I have several red-winged back bird inspired art ideas rolling around in my head. Love these colorful birds and their beautiful songs. #the100dayproject

Day 83/100: It was a doozy of a work day today. Oof. So gave myself permission to make a very simple, but soothing to paint, watercolor background this evening. #The100DayProject #arttherapy
