"federal agents detained nearly every resident of the 130-unit building—including children and babies—placing them in zip ties and separating them by race into vans for more than two hours early Tuesday morning."
Surreal moment for America. Needless to say, if the normal police ever pulled something like this — pulling every single person out of an apartment building and handcuffing them to run warrant checks — they would be sued into oblivion.
Yet ICE is going to get away with it entirely.
i'm guessing this is for his buddies who have been accused of war crimes or blatant racism

This pretext to further assault higher ed is not fundamentally different from the views of The Free Press, whose editorial board said universities were the "main culprits" behind political violence.

13.09.2025 19:42 — 👍 2 🔁 1 💬 0 📌 0Fall of Freedom is an urgent call to the arts community to unite in defiance of authoritarian forces sweeping the nation. Our Democracy is under attack. Threats to free expression are rising. Dissent is being criminalized. Institutions and media have been recast as mouthpieces of propaganda. This Fall, we are activating a nationwide wave of creative resistance. Beginning November 21–22, 2025, galleries, museums, libraries, comedy clubs, theaters, and concert halls across the country will host exhibitions, performances, and public events that channel the urgency of this moment. Fall of Freedom is an open invitation to artists, creators, and communities to take part—and to celebrate the experiences, cultures, and identities that shape the fabric of our nation. Art matters. Artists are a threat to American fascism.
Invitation to friends in the arts. I'm part of a group organizing a project called Fall of Freedom. We want artists and orgs of all kinds (whether you're an Indie bookstore, a cinema, gallery, whatever) to come together to resist authoritarianism. Starting November 21st...

That's it. That's the post.
There is simply a huge audience among the youth for critiques of the state of Israel, given what young people see the state doing to the children of Gaza. This critique can come from someone like Zohran Mamdani, or it can come from Candace Owens or Tucker Carlson interviewing a Holocaust denier.
