Jos tämä kirjoitus edustaa SDP:n näkemyksiä velkajarrusta edes pääosin, on syytä olla huolissaan.

Alla muutama kommentti päätoimittaja Korhosen väitteisiin. 1/

Velkajarru nimenomaan lisää velkaantumista

• pakottamalla sopeuttamaan heikon kasvun oloissa ja
• estämällä julkiset investoinnit, joiden avulla kasvu elpyisi ja velkasuhde laskisi.

Ts. myös velkajarrun vastustaminen on velkaantumisen vastustamista. 3/

Mutta eipä kai pääomapakoa, X suuruusluokan leikkausvaadetta tai Orpo-Purra -verolinjaa ole tarpeellista tai syytä olettaa ennalta todeksi tai ottaa annettuna…? Toki löytyy ymmärrystä hetkellisille fatalistisille mielentiloille tällaisina aikoina. Rajoitukset tulille jos sikseen tulee ;)

3) Eikö tasaisempi tulonjako lisäisi kysyntää ja näin reaali-investointeja?

4) Lisääkö intensiivinen velkaantuminen taloudellista eriarvoisuutta ja vaikuttaa näin negatiivisesti kokonaiskysyntään ja näin ollen produktiivisiin investointeihin ja taloudelliseen toimeliaisuuteen?

1) Eikö pääomien verotusta rukkaamalla voisi kannustaa produktiivisiin investointeihin, kun sieltä pitäisi kairata tarpeeksi hyvät tuottoasteet?

2) Eikö kasvaneita verotuloja voisi laittaa julkisiin reaali-investointeihin?

Silmät sidottuna kohti velkajarrua Jos päätöksentekijät eivät ole täysin varmoja sopimansa lakimuutoksen seurauksista, kannattaako sitä todella tehdä?

Tässä tekstissä kumoan velkajarruun liittyviä väärinymmärryksiä. Käymieni taustakeskustelujen valossa vaikuttaa siltä, että velkajarru ollaan säätämässä ilman tosiasiallista ymmärrystä sen seurauksista.

Tarkastelen alla kriittisesti viittä väitettä, joilla työttömyysongelmaa on vähätelty viime aikoina. 1/

Suomen talouspoliittisen doktriinin kulmakivet 2010-luvulla:

1) palkkakuri,
2) julkisen kulutuksen leikkaaminen,
3) veronalennukset,
4) tuloerojen kasvattaminen rikkaita suosien kannustintoimena,
5) elvytyksestä kieltäytyminen.

Kaikessa on onnistuttu! Ja siksi ollaan tässä.

On tässä työttömyyskriisin selittelyssä myös se huvittava - tai oikeastaan surullinen - piirrekin, että ensin hoetaan vuosikymmeniä, että Suomi pelastuu vaan maahanmuutolla ja sitten kun paskotaan työmarkkinat myötäsyklisellä politiikalla, syylliseksi työttömyyden nousuun löydetäänkin maahanmuutto.

Sekin on jännä, että Suomessa työvoimatutkimusta on tehty 66 vuotta ja työttömyysaste on kelvannut keskeiseksi työmarkkinoiden tilaa kuvaavaksi suureeksi koko tämä ajan, mutta juuri nyt se alkoikin valehdella meille. Kun kertoi luodusta työttömyyskriisistä.

Vieraskynä | Suomen kansallinen velkajarru uhkaa hyydyttää talouskasvun Hallituksen valmistelema lakiesitys on selvästi EU-sääntöjä tiukempi. Jäykästä velkajarrusta ei olisi hyötyä Suomen taloudelle.

Velkajarrusta aktivoituisi lähinnä matalasuhdanteissa pahentaen taantumia. ”Turvamarginaalisäännös” myös ongelmallinen.

Parempi vaihtoehto: Kehysbudjetointiin tulot mukaan ja parlamentaarinen sopimus.
