This is in Paris, so it has nothing to do with the UK. This was one of the photos I had handy. Both motorcycles and bikes illegally ride recklessly on that stretch of sidewalk during morning rush hour.

Maybe the photos I sent to the Mayor showing motorcycle riders and bicyclists speeding down our sidewalk resulted in action! I am an avid SAFE cyclist, these reckless idiots give all of us a bad reputation.

Police are out in force issuing traffic citations this morning. Many Parisians despise dangerous cyclists for riding on sidewalks, running into pedestrians & passing through red lights at busy intersections, leading to demands for aggressive safety enforcement.

Thanks, but I can't say how many times someone is standing, smoking, or hanging out in front of a roller shutter that I want to take a photo of. Sometimes there are multiple bins on garbage day or large work vans. The worst is seeing a shutter and it immediately starts to open.
