facebook is a pretty accurate sad empty strip mall simulator.

i used to think "oh, my friends are still there" but they aren't. nothing facebook shows me has to do with my friends. it's just dead empty advertising bot garbage. i'm hanging out at a strip mall hoping i'll run into someone while they're shopping, when i can just call them.

I think blocking youtube to try and break my mindless scrolling habit might be next. I need to more actively CHOOSE what i look at. i just look at what's served up. it's stupid and it makes me feel stupid.
