There were a lot of hints in 1.0 that Louisoix was gathering a specific group of people in the Circle of Knowing and labelling them Archons despite some of them not studying in Sharlayan. He was up to something, and instead we got Myths of the Realm.

All the hints and mystery around the real, not Sharlayan, Archons and the original Circle of Knowing. The hints at Azeyma, Azim, Azem and The WoL being the same soul reincarnated several times. The idea of the other Scions being reincarnations of the rest of The Twelve. That all got flushed.
