a triple headed panther god, perhaps the god of war, stands fiercely atop a waffle house, the sky is so dark there's nary a star, but you can see straight through his legs. it must have just rained recently.

a deer god grazes peacefully amongst the roadside cattle. It's a chilly winter morning, a barn in the distance has the word "VOTE" painted along side it's roof, but you're not sure who its endorsing.

A biblically accurate owl god perches atop a decrepit toys r us. The parking lot is grown over with weeds. I used to work there you know. that's not part of this picture but I thought you should know.

The beasts of old still enjoy roaming these dreary lands... Best just to leave them be.

Blue Cross Blue Shield in Connecticut, New York and Missouri has declared it will no longer pay for anesthesia for the full length of some surgeries.

It the procedure goes over a certain time, anesthesia will not be covered for the duration.

tomorrow is a national day of mourning for me & many other native people. it’s also a day where other people seek love and are embraced by family, food, and spirit. all I ask is that space is held for native grief & that love is had over the food shared (which is overwhelmingly native in origin)!

To be more specific, these words were said in support of Denise, a trans DEA agent played by David Duchovny in 1990.

"Fix your hearts or die" has been a trans-supportive rallying cry for more than 30 years. 🏳️‍⚧️🖤
