a vgen commission quoted at $1200 USD. the vgen service fee (5%) takes $60 USD. stripe's payment processing fee (2.6% + 30c) takes $35.10 USD stripe's international payout fee (2%) takes $24 USD. leaving the artist to receive $1080 from the original $1200.
feeeees duuude. 5% already feels huge, then stripe/paypal is another fuckin slappp
if you're an artist taking comms online, PLEASE be exporting your paypal/vgen/stripe summary at the end of the year and claiming those fees as a deductible. i have somethin like $900usd of fees to report every year
