The dynamic is simple: Democrats want to talk about their popular policies that improve people's lives, but the media wants to talk about whatever sensational lies the Republicans are telling about Democrats. The Democrats' policy priorities are fine; they need to change the media dynamic.

Yes! Democrats ALWAYS run on health care, support for labor, fair taxes, working class jobs, etc. But the media finds those things boring, so they ignore all that stuff and focus instead on transgender athletes, "defunding the police", and (non-existent) benefits for undocumented immigrants.

Fair point, but don’t discount voter suppression. In many red and swing states, Republicans have done all sorts of dirty tricks to make it harder to vote and to confuse voters. A substantial number of non-voters wanted to vote, or even submitted ballots that got disqualified.

The left was derided for promoting a cancel culture because they went after predators and those who abused their wealth and power.

The right is canceling anyone who dares speak truth to power.

Both sides are not remotely the same.

Feminizing the Democratic Party really sucks. You can see it in the media when they criticize male Democrats for acting macho: cursing, raising their voices, going on the attack. And God forbid female Democrats show more energy than a doormat. They get called “shrill” and “entitled.”
