He went slowly blind and his eyes were removed when the pressure/inflammation couldn’t be controlled - he could still detect light/dark for a while. Inoperable cataracts with underlying uveitis (idiopathic) & detached retina. The 2nd eye had a sarcoma found on the biopsy after removal

Rufus was the most ridiculously independent cat who spent more time outside than in. Since he went fully blind he lost all his confidence and turned himself into an inside cat.
He took to a harness instantly and I’m so pleased I can help expand his world again 💙
