Governments must ensure export credit agencies prohibit fossil fuel financing and shift 💸💸 towards 100% renewable energy that responds to the needs of local communities, and protect human rights.

The project threatens the livelihoods of communities who have depended on this ecosystem for decades due to the potential increase in maritime traffic and pollution caused by floating LNG vessels.

The project plans to install six floating units for gas liquefaction. Two of these units will be owned by ENI, while SACE, Italy’s export credit agency, is poised to secure the work with public money 💰💰, compensating for investments in the event that the project suffers a setback.
