very haphazard second draft but i like my thought process. every killer was someone i thought would be competent enough to formulate a murder plan (aka not akane or ibuki) chiaki being the first kill just feels right, someone predicted that in the source gaming discord frame 1 and that is totally something they do. if it's not her it will be hajime or komaeda or maybe imposter again, they have never given that spot to a completely random character. chapter 2 is still twilight syndrome themed with the victim being who you actually play as in that game within a game. i had to change this because i forgot akane wasn't involved in that subplot and that is why ibuki is a survivor. i do not trust this new story to be perfect so chapter 3 has to be bad. it's a sonia love feud that teruteru gets involved in somehow. sonia lives because i think its very funny if she's the only character who lives in both scenarios besides hajime. Peko being explored in more depth is possible but i feel like you do not get Hiyoko character development in exchange. Komaeda dies in the exact same spot to throw off expectations once you're used to everything being different. i subscribe to the belief 2 got remade because the fact everyone lives anyway means they can do whatever the fuck in the neo world program and still have it line up with canon but am not ruling out drv3 bleeding into this game.
