Hell of the Living Dead (1980) – Film – In The Audience When a top-secret experiment at the Hope Center Chemical Factory, in Papua New Guinea, goes awry it results in a chemical spill, turning scientists and workers into zombies. A TV reporter and her camera man band together with 4 soldiers to find out why people are coming back from the dead and eating the living.

Movie #2 in my 31 days of horror is Hell of the Living Dead (1980), a film that was famously intended to be a rip off of Dawn of the Dead.

It's a classic Creature Features night! So far, I've watched The Lady and the Monster (1944), The Maze (1953), and The Trollenberg Terror (1957).

Hello Indianapolis! I've got my list, my number/paddle, my coffee, and I'm ready for the Circle City Aquarium Club auction.

Not sure if Troma made changes. They sometimes do. It would be fun to watch and compare.

The copy I purchased is a digital download that, for some reason, I had saved on a micro SD on an old phone. It was available for download purchase for a little bit while the film was on the festival circuit. I think I bought and downloaded it while I was at some film fest.

In selecting a movie for my sweetie and I to watch tonight, I found my copy of The Taint. The version I bought BEFORE they sold the rights to Troma. 🤣 In which a tainted water supply turns men i to misogynistic psychopaths intent on harming any women they see. Gory and goofy. Oh my.

Midsommar (2019) it was my first time watching this. I can see why it was given wide release and was popular with mainstream audiences. I thought it was predictable, but still enjoyable.

For the last few years, I've thought it would be fun to do everything "of the Dead"/"of the Living Dead" for my 31-Days of Horror. So, over the last few days, I've been compiling a list of films. This October is going to be so much fun!

The Question of how will I spend my day? Fish, frogs, Fest, or fun?

Galaxy of Terror (1981) is apparently the thing to watch when one is working on day 2 of not sleeping well. Shockingly, I've not seen this. I thought I had. Loving it.
