⬅️…while Sue’s force fields were one lens flare away from being a cameo by JJ Abrams. Johnny’s flames are more believable than his Chris Evans incarnation, but so are those in Keynote. Galactus clearly ate all of Franklin’s FX first, while Shalla-Bal shredded it on his back-lava. ➡️

⬅️…and its people being full of adulation for their heroes… until they, um, weren’t. Some very ugly dialogue in the middle act leads to Vanessa Kirby utterly crushing it in front of the statue.

The effects are a bit up-and-down; Ben’s heavier footfalls felt too forced - yeah, he’s heavy, we get it…➡️
