This little project is finished. All of it is scratch build, except the head, that came from a doll. I’m pretty interested in mix organic and mechanical, and this is my first attempt.

The painting will be tricky too: to close the seamlines, I have a lot of masking work ahead of me.
Who would have told me, when I opened the box and saw what was inside, to go ahead instead of throwing it out the window.

I've been sanding like crazy for a week, using plaplate to cover impossible seam lines. On top of that, the plastic is so bad that scribbling requires extreme delicacy. I think I'll finish the backpack today and start working on adding more details.

I'm working on this kit now. In the photos it looked like it could do some interesting things, but... It's a nightmare. It's a glorified 1/100 HG, it has huge amounts of polycaps, absolutely no detail, and seam lines as wide as the Nile River.

Trick for building with very small pieces: do it over a piece of fabric in the table. Additionally, you can put also some kind of fabric - carpet on the floor. So, if the piece slips and falls, will not rebound and… disappear (as fu**** usual)

Yesterday the metallic parts arrived and this morning I stopped for a moment to assemble them. I have to make a couple of retouches and better photos, but this Zaku would be ready.
