I really feel for our colleagues in the USA who are being forced into such a difficult situation- it is truly awful to see

It is a sad sign of the current situation in the USA that standing up for the rule of law is considered ‘going scorched earth’ - lawyers should not have to choose between remaining employed and respecting the rule of law :/

Turns out the government’s strategy of ignoring expert advice and continuing the woeful underfunding of criminal justice is working just as well for them as it did the previous lot.

They are so helpful and friendly - strongly recommended
