I've read some dumb sh*t lately, but this might be the dumbest. What you are actually suggesting is a second civil war since there is no way the remaining states would allow a peaceful separation of the tax revenue the seceding states hold.

Agreed. It is definitely survivable. Trans people existed, and were able to get their medications, before we had the current systems in place.
