Also…what exactly is wrong with neurodivergence Candy? Even if there was some merit to this junk science, you’d rather have a child dead from COVID or Measles than a neurodivergent child? Sounds like someone subscribes to eugenics.

As you can read, Candy has a fundamental misunderstanding of (and imo she intentionally misrepresents) what DEI actually is.

🤔 can you spot the copy-paste format in her email reply to me? Do we think she copy-pasted from a right wing cheat sheet or had a ghost-writer help her out?

Several Awaken Redlands folks brought up recalls at the last board meeting, sounding quite concerned about the possibility.

What are your thoughts? Would you support a recall? And if so, what would your support look like? A recall would require a coordinated community-wide effort to be successful.

Also important to note that Dr Wilson shared in the committee meeting that most Title IX reports (all student to student at this time) are coming from the elementary level, who are not represented in this survey.

At this time, the survey reports don’t match the number of Title IX violation reports - meaning if the survey is accurate, students aren’t reporting these experiences. Why? What are the barriers?

Some thoughts: Is it possible to collect school site data rather than grade data (the surveys are required to be anonymous, and collecting both I think would threaten that anonymity) so the district can better identify problem areas in the district?
