Derby is going to see this and ask why we don’t celebrate garbage day with a monitor.

Derby wants everyone to know there’s been 3/4” of snow since 5 pm yesterday.

It’s looking a little different today. The trees are finally covered again.

Derby is ending the week with just over 1 inch of snow. More snow is expected for garbage day, but Derby won’t be able to keep track of that snow because there’s a more important job to do.

This aged well. 😀

The moon is out tonight! It's 99.3% full at the time of this photo and still appears round/not flat.

Derby is reporting a glaze of ice. The lid is frozen shut. It is also freezing sprinkling out.

Sorry there is no official snow report from Derby due to Garbage Day. I think 8.5” fell since last night and a 2 day total of 10.5”.

2” fell but for part of the snow I failed and had the lid open. Derby will never let me down on my fail. There’s only 1” on the can.

I’ve cooked the kale down and made omelets with them to soften the taste.

Derby won’t be able to do a side hustle of supporting snow observations tomorrow because of garbage day. Garbage day must always take first priority as Derby prefers.

I had peppers growing hydroponically (DIY setup) and their root system was too much. Eventually I had to cut them out. I didn't try them again. They were hands down the best tasting pepper I've ever had. Kale is best eaten when the leaves are tiny. Everything looks great!

As a person that lived in WA and now live in Ak, go Seahawks. I hope they blow out the Patriots.

In scientific terms, the band that starts off was moving up from the south, got all wiggly, and told the rest of sky to get lit. I'm glad the sky listened.

The snow adornment is hanging on for its life tonight. It’s wrapped its self around the wood. I’ve never seen it do this before. It’s going to do its best to hang on through the brutal attack that it will face tonight. Long live the snow adornments!
