If someone could explain why the #NJDevils finishing and goaltending is so terrible at home, I would really appreciate it.

Compared to the rest of the league, over last 5 home games (all situations) they have the best xGF% (61.28) and the worst PDO (0.904).

Is it really just luck?

Interesting case of PDO haves and have-nots among #NJDevils defense. Some get saves, some get finishing, some get both...

I would think some of this is due to deployment, QoT and QoC, but I wonder how much is related to good OZ vs DZ play making life easier for forwards vs goalie (or both)

Among defensemen in their last 10 team games played (TOI >150mins) Luke is first in both xGF/60 and xGF%. Pesce at 2.

Maybe it's cherrypicking, but I'd like to think they've found their groove

FIA distracting from their terrible decision making re. the wing mirror by giving Lando a 10sec stop and go. He deserved a penalty, but giving that after the safety car (a long time after the infringement) was ridiculous.

Has the added benefit (for them) of taking WCC and P2 in WDC to AD

2 things I would be interested in seeing the Devils trial:

1. Cotter on PP2 (replacing Tatar?)
2. Luke getting some PK time (esp if Dillon is in the box - Dougie killing penalties gives me anxiety)
