I'm really in love his philosophy, about wearing your inspirations on your sleeve and sincerely believing what you're doing is cool. I've been thinking a lot about this section from an interview he did. I need "everything that is loved has a reason for it" repeated by everyone everywhere forever.

Worst offender I've personally seen is this Guardians of Gahoole book I read when I was 13, where the one demon owl (they had demon owls) who tries to do good gets damned to hell anyways. Because "evil is in her nature" or whatever. I think that changed my view on people forever seriously

I see this thing with demons tooooo often and it kinda falls flat as an allegory for anything... marginalized group, mental illness, any sort of deviation from the norm... it's like getting a pat on the back and hearing "hey well at least you're one of the good ones. Everyone else going to hell tho"
