Been writing novels for over twenty years now and still don’t understand the strange alchemy that knits a book together. In my head, I had three disparate plot points and an over-riding ethos the book hinges on. Then a fifteen minute walk brought them all together for a dramatic denouement.

Im in that stage of planning a novel where I’m making a detailed Pinterest board, saving many bookmarks, buying quite a lot of books and watching Below Deck. All for research, except I also do all those things when I’m not planning a novel. #trusttheprocess #booksky

I really enjoyed reading this. I think the Dorothy Parker writes F Scott Fitzgerald was bang on the money.

I've just cooked for the first time in an air fryer. Took much longer than expected but not having to wear a shower cap on my head so my hair doesn't get smelly while I fry bacon is priceless.

Which means it's a whole year since F1 became about 73% of my entire personality. Be very interesting to watch our fave, now having indepth knowledge of the 2025 season.

Only two more weeks until our fave! I watched Glitter & Gold but I fear it might not have the high octane drama and machismo that you want.

The Superbowl halftime show was the hit of dopamine I really needed. Also, made me determined to work harder on my Duolingo Spanish module - I just can't get even close to a muy bueno accent.
