Trump administration orders sweeping freeze of federal aid In a two-page memo, the Office of Management and Budget ordered all federal agencies to temporarily suspend payments.

FNYS is monitoring this funding freeze closely. Approx. 1/3 of the food we distribute comes from TEFAP, a federal program that provides emergency food assistance. Freezing this program, even temporarily, will cause hardship to NYers & all Americans impacted by food insecurity.
