I’m all for policy that’s good for the family unit (parental leave, single payer healthcare, good public education, etc), but countries with these policies still have low fertility rates.
One of the reasons why is because women of childbearing age can’t find equal mates in men our age anymore. 1/

Was using TurboTax to file, and if you use your refund instead of a credit card to pay for Premium, they charge an extra “refund processing fee” of $40 ON TOP OF the cost for using Premium.
Having to file your own taxes is a scam, even if you do it for free.
