Just read @miamingus.bsky.social's blog post on access intimacy. It explains why so many of us living with #lupus were devastated by @lupus.org's decision to scrub the LGBTQ community, and the Black and Brown community from their website.

It appears that @lupus.org has removed the episode on Lupus and the LGBTQ community. It was Season 6, episode 3. There is no longer an episode 3, just a "bonus episode." If I'm missing something, can someone let me know? Genuinely hope I'm mistaken. #lupus #chronicillness #lgbtq #pridemonth

As the meds that I take for #lupus continue to help me feel better, I've come up against a paradox: I have more energy, but my body still demands that I move slowly.

Learning to separate "I have more energy" from "getting a lot done" has proved tricky, given years of training to be "productive."

We lived with a Sufi when we were working with Roshi Glassman at the Greyston Foundatiom in New York. He was old, cantankerous, and not a fun roommate. However, he would move the furniture aside and whirl, and honestly, you could feel the environment shift when he started. It was mesmerizing.

So great to see this! I've had to borrow a lot of vocabulary from the ME/CFS world to explain my lupus symptoms to my doctors. The post exertion malaise is so real for me, but seems far more common in ME/CFS world than in the Lupus SLE world.
