Maybe there's a common program across your laptops that messes with your NIC that no one else in your house would use? I assume that you're not the only one using Windows PCs
Could be your antivirus if you use that, could be any program that messes with the network settings
I can't say I've had that issue before.
My best guess would be that it's something to do with your router specifically, if the issue is common across devices. Maybe the router has a cache issue that gets cleared out whenever you reset the card? That's a totally wild guess but it's all I've got
