π¨ Special Episode! π¨
Duncan sat down with JJ Henderson and podcast favourite Kevin Barretto from @RaithRoversCF tonight to learn more about the great work that they're doing.

A group of people standing outside an Indian restaurant in Kirkcaldy.
Two people in a football stadium in the dark at full-time.
Football players leave a pitch in darkness at full-time, under the floodlights.
A blue Raith Rovers football scarf and a black coffee mug on a train table in Scotland.
Absolute highlight of the festive season for me: a trip to Stark's Park to see Raith Rovers defeat Livingston, and then out for a curry with the @onnnpodcast.bsky.social crew. Really fortunate to be able to be part of such a terrific group of people!

A substitute footballer prepares to take a shot from 40 yards.
The last 12 months in Raith Rovers: a thread.
Raith Rovers are 2-0 up against Arbroath, who have so few substitutes they need to put their reserve goalkeeper on as an outfield player. He scores from 40 yards. Arbroath go on to draw 2-2.

Interesting game to discuss. First half left so much to be desired but then Neill Collins was happy enough to change it up even though we'd taken the lead against the run of play.
I'd love to know if we'd start with a back 3 if we have a full squad.

Where he'll be learning off of the likes of Easton, Stanton and Brown and with Colin Cameron on the playing side. I'd expect that Neill Collins will start to bleed him into Championship games going forward. Every reason to be optimistic.

We mention it on the episode, but Simon Ferry has spoken really highly of Montagu before. The open goal stuff sometimes gets used as a rod to beat Ferry with but by all accounts he is a really good coach.
Montagu looks like he's got a lot of awareness and technical ability. He's in an environment...
A fun idea to do the cup draw live. Less fun who we got.
A few other points though. For all it's been a 'difficult second session' there's plenty to excite any new prospective boardroom additions.
On the playing side, great to see Kai Montagu get game time...
Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest!
02.12.2024 14:48 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0While I'd love Musselburgh away, I already know it'll be either Livingston or Ayr away...
02.12.2024 14:46 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0Interesting to see what the boardroom change at Rovers will entail. Can understand why the two outgoing would step back in favour of fresh blood.
25.11.2024 17:18 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Rovers have every right to be calling out Accies today. Absolutely farcical how things unfolded today. Got to wonder why Accies were so desperate to try to fool people to game was in no danger of falling foul to the weather.

Not a Dumbarton fan but I've seen some cracking games at the Rock involving Raith.
This administration isn't anything their fans could control. They've been left in the lurch. Hopefully fans of other teams will add their support in.
