We have the local poppy badges back on sale again this year. Pictured are the designs we currently have, while stocks last of course! They are produced by Staffordshire Fire and Rescue to raise money for the Royal British Legion and cost £3.50 each.

A huge thanks to Alsagers Bank Primary Academy, for thier amazing donation of a stained glass window ffrom Apedale Hall. It's now on display in place of our existing window, but we plan to build something that will show both windows off. #stainedglass #apedale #staffordshire

From 22nd September our kitchen will be closed on Mondays, due to lack of cover for volunteer holidays. We'll be back to normal on 10th November.
On these Mondays, we'll be serving drinks and snacks only. Service on other days will be as normal.

Just arrived in our shop, "North Staffordshire Coalfield Through Time" by local historian, Mervyn Edwards. This book shows how locations related to the coal indsutry have changed over time. A fascinating book and you may recognise a certain heritage center amongst its pages!
