Good plan, there’s no way that the US would ever betray Kurds who fought on their behalf, or that Turkey would be upset by and seek to frustrate any US-backed Kurdish forces, or that an invasion from Iraq would trigger Iranian nationalist opposition. None of those things have ever happened.

It's actually a bit worse than this, because originally they predicted a wave of regret-fueled detransitions. Those never materialized, so instead of admitting they were wrong they concluded the happy, well-adjusted trans young adults would be better off if they'd done conversion therapy instead.

I know people are concerned about some things in this article like Gemini encouraging the man to go to actual real world locations to commit mass violence and giving instructions for how to kill himself, but you have to consider: Google said Gemini is designed not to do that and “pobody’s nerfect”

One would think "Therapists and doctors are telling kids they're trans" and "Therapists and doctors are listening to kids who say they're trans" would be completely opposed stances, until you realize what they both have in common is "Trans kids are being permitted to exist"

The entire anti-trans care grift is built in treating the usual way medicine works as if it's a scandal.

Therapists figure out if a kid is trans the same way they figure out if they're depressed. They ask questions, maybe using a formal scale to quantify how kids compare to similar kids.
