True. I had the same concern. I still do to some extent, but I looked at the bill text and it does require that anything classified after this past July 1 must be identified along with who directed it to be classified and the justification for doing it. No stealth or retrospective classification.

Burchett's UC motion included amendments to the bill that would have thrown it into procedural limbo. I'm all for putting R's on the spot but after a 427-1 vote there's not really any point to seeing if any Senators are truly stupid enough to die on this hill. Send it to Trump's desk as is asap.
