Yep. Which tells you that the U.S. used her and had no intention of doing anything other than bullying their way into the country, “running it” and then maybe they’ll install her to grin as a Trump sycophant and stand to one side as the U.S. takes all the oil it wants.

Why is the U.S. planning to “run” Venezuela? What happened to the opposition leader, 2025 Nobel Peace Prize winner María Corina Machado, recognized for her efforts to promote democratic rights? The people should run their own country. Unless our objective and the coup is to control oil.

There are ways that even liberals can be guilty of micro aggressions. I just witnessed one, where a white man was trying to get signatures for a progressive petition and asked everyone around me, even though I do live in the city and I am registered to vote and sat with a friendly smile. Sigh.

I often remind people that there’s just as much good in the world as evil, and that evil wins when it convinces us otherwise and we give up hope. News often focuses on the negative, but we need to be careful. Cruelty IS on the rise globally and to maintain Good we need to actively stand against it.

What kind of movie am I watching?
- Starts in a major city
- Stars a business woman
- Has a Black or/and Gay work colleague, friend or manager who gives life changing advice and may never be seen again
- Professional woman leaves big city for small town/foreign village
and ends up abandoning career

I’m an ambivert weirdo, a creative loner who sees movies and theater solo, travels to spectacular places alone. Not because I want to (sometimes I do), but because that’s the way things are right now and I enjoy life too much not to grab hold and dance with it…even if it’s not shared with someone.

Scratching head: how do you let your friend’s mom carry luggage down 5 flights of stairs when just a few moments later you come down those same stairs??

YES! Enough with the watering down of the mission to serve the DemoStatic party’s m.o. of pleasing corporations and bending the knee to the wealthy.
