And my original post turns out to be correct: GLUE (Global, Urban, and Environmental Studies programs, as well as Food) have been β€œindefinitely discontinued” at the New School.

Faculty have no list of the 30 impacted programs, only word of mouth. A clarification: History, Anthro, Sociology will close as undergrad majors; GPIA is no longer a grad degree; GLUE programs are anxiously awaiting news of their directive. Except for Psych, PhD admissions indefinitely paused.

The New School is now a place where students cannot major in History, Anthropology, Sociology, Global Policy & International Affairs, Global Studies, Urban Studies, or Environmental Studies. And more pauses, closures, and mergers coming down the pike this week. The future is uncertain.

If robots write the stuff and robots then read the stuff, what is the point of the humans??

Haha wow! You’re probably right. At any rate, I love that a theorist is with a romance filmmaker. Explains so much!

I totally agree. But people point out his dad a bit more than his mom. This film is such a deep look at cross racial intimacy

Zohran’s mom directed Mississippi Masala! That says so much.

Julie Beth Napolin delivers a singular debut, one that cuts new trail through the cosmic and the colloquial wilds while adding to the amorphous canon of psych-folk.
