An employee who does not withhold federal income taxes, and/or pay appropriate estimated tax on time is subject to penalties. And you are forgetting that only the smaller part of FICA is Medicare. The larger part is Social Security w/holding.

There is no way a federal court would grant an injunction that diverts funds from the Treasury that are owed by law for federal income tax withholding and FICA. The graphic is nonsense.

That’s not how it works. Employers send withholding funds directly to the US Treasury as required by law. States are not involved.

No, you are not! You can get the IL State Police deployed to protect protestors. Get them between the protesters and ICE, but facing ICE. Have them explain to the protesters and ICE that they are there to ensure that citizens have a right to protest peacefully in public places.

@govpritzker.illinois.gov - Where were the Illinois State Police? YOU should have sent them to protect the peaceful protesters! Your people could have gotten body camera footage of it all and protected people from unconstitutional arrests.

You don’t understand trade. The Arg export taxes only hurt Arg farmers. They don’t affect foreign buyers of Arg soy. The same way that import taxes (tariffs) are paid by the domestic importers, export taxes (negative tariffs) are paid by domestic exporters. The rest of the world is unaffected.
