Oh wow, that’s amazing! 😍

My favorite artist in the world is Elena Kukanova. And her illustration of Angrod from The Silmarillion looks more like Rush than anything I’ve ever seen. If the nose were less straight, the eyes green, and lips slightly thinner it’d be a spitting image. IDK if posting it here is okay, so I’m not.

A manga-ish sort of image of an exhausted young man with raggedy pale hair, a small chin and green eyes. His face is tilted and he’s glancing up. His hair is white in the picture but picture it more the color of fallow grass it’ll be closer. It ain’t exactly Rushak but it’s got all his characteristics available in the toolbox! It’s from a site where artists give you a bunch of character elements they drew and you put them together in whatever combo. Reminds me of Colorforms when I was a kid in the days before technology existed (you stuck vinyl shapes to a board to make pictures). It looks like the signature on it is: @funi.ko22 hope I got that right!

So I just discovered a stupendous addictive time waster I never heard of before … Picrew! It’s very fun, but of limited value so far. Still, this came out cute I think #AwesomeCharacters

Oh you are so sweet to say it. 🥰 Drisal’s a much more recent effort. I’m really trying to figure out how to draw cause I want to see my characters. 😅

I drew this in high school … No place in the story is Rushak is doing this … and he’s actually pretty, but I’ve truly never seen any real art except Kukanova that captures his spirit so kid drawings it is. 🤷‍♀️

When editing I seek chances to shrink sprawling scenes to what my close 3rd POV character perceives.
Many words trying to describe what Cerel was seeing after regaining consciousness got distilled this week:

Light glinted off an opened eye. Cerel screamed.

Rush didn’t hear him.
