As we watch war unleashed on Iran, we pray that innocent civilians are protected.
My thoughts are with Iranian families, who suffer under the tyranny of a brutal dictatorship and now face the horrors of war.

Today is #PinkShirtDay. Today we must recommit and say bullying has no place in our schools, our workplaces, or our communities. Kindness is not weakness. Inclusion is not optional. Respect is not negotiable.
Letβs choose empathy. Letβs choose courage. Letβs choose each other. π
Today, on Pink Shirt Day, Iβm reminded that creating a safe and welcoming community is something we all share responsibility for. π
Bullying - whether in the home, at school, online, or in the workplace - causes real harm. Choose kindness instead! π

Following my meeting with Minister @kellyrichmondbc.bsky.social a couple of weeks ago, I committed to coming to the Sumas Prairie to see firsthand the impacts of the recent flooding.
Today, I was on the ground to follow through on that commitment.

Yesterday, we got the assurance we came to Ottawa for - the federal government committed to partnering with us on flood mitigation for the Sumas Prairie.
We look forward to the critical work ahead to protect communities, infrastructure, food security, the economy and supply chains.
The #FraserValley is a lifeline for B.C. and Western Canada. This trip to Ottawa is to receive commitment from the federal government and help build resiliency to prevent devastating events like the flooding we saw in December and in 2021.
